Microbe-Lift Ich-Out
MICROBE-LIFT/ Ich-Out is the safest and most effective treatment for "ich" and many other protozoan-caused diseases in aquarium fish (e.g. those diseases caused by Ichthyophthirius, Cryptocaryon, Costia, Trichodina, Chilodonella, Oodinium and Amyloodinium). Ich-Out treats the protozoan diseases of freshwater and saltwater fish commonly called "ich". In freshwater, the disease is caused by Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, and in saltwater the disease is caused by Cryptocaryon irritans. The signs of both diseases is the presence of small white cysts that appear as raised spots that resemble salt crystals on the body and fins of the diseased fish. It is also an effective treatment for fungal infections of aquarium fish.
• Treats "ich" diseases in freshwater and saltwater
• Safe for use on most scaleless fish and tetras
|
|
When used as directed MICROBE-LIFT/Ich-Out will not harm biological filtration and is generally recognized as safe for use on scaleless catfish, tetras and loaches. As with all treatments, the prompt use of MICROBE-LIFT/Ich-Out will help insure a complete recovery of the diseased fish. MICROBE-LIFT/Ich-Out is a powerful treatment and may not be tolerated by fish that are heavily traumatized by their disease.

AquaLife Bacta-Dip
Bacta-Dip is an external disinfectant dip treatment for the eradication of bacterial infections in ornamental fish. Bacta-Dip disrupts the cell wall of the pathogens causing collapse and death of the disease-causing organisms. Bact-Dip is particularly effective against Aeormonas and Pseudomonas and other antibiotic-resistant species. Bacta-Dip is a dry powder medication which is mixed with de-ionized or distilled water in a container large enough to accommodate and cover fish to be dipped. The bath should be aerated with an airstone and air pump. Affected fish are placed into the container for 3-5 minutes. Observe fish carefully for stress and skin appearance. Following treatment, fish are returned to the pond or aquarium. The bath treatment should be repeated every other day for one week. If diagnosed soon enough, skin eruptions should heal within 15 days. Bacta-Dip can be used as a preventative prior to introducing new fish to a system.

Salt
Promotes healing. Reduces internal electrolyte loss. Reduces water uptake and lowers urine production. Provides source of minerals for fish. Made from evaporated sea water.
Pond salt reduces metabolic stress in fish by reducing the energy needed to take up minerals and other ions from the water. It also slows the uptake of water into the fish"s body and reduces the amount of urine they have to expel. Pond salts are also an important dietary source of minerals that the fish absorb through the gills and skin.
Directions: Add 23 tablespoons (340 g) for every 100 gallons of water. Note: salts do not evaporate. When adding makeup water to a pond for evaporation, no new salt needs to be added. However, if water is drained from the tank or pond, replacement salt needs to be added. Store away from moisture.
