The pump is self priming. The maintenance monitor reminds you when to clean the filter. In the event of a clog, the water diversion channel allows overflow to go back into the aquarium. The adjustable leveling device allows for precise filter positioning on the tank. The adjustable flow regulation wheel allows you to adjust performance to specific aquarium volume or type. It enables different environments for fish who prefer more or less flow or oxygenation. The feature offers up to 80% reduction of maximum flow intake while making full use of the filter motor. When reduced flows are selected, the filtration grid allows for water to re circulate through the filter media thus maximizing performance through increased contact time.
